ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Final – Photo Gallery

India finally did it. We won the Cricket World Cup after 28 years. That too, at home ground. Also, we set two new records in doing so.

First Asian country to win World Cup twice.
First country ever to win world cup at home ground. i.e., first time ever, a host country has won.
MS Dhoni became the only captain to have won world-cup of two different formats (T20 and ODI) of cricket

World Champ India

India beats Pakistan in the final of T20 Worldcup to become the world champions. Upon their return from SA to Mumbai, the Men in Blue got a royal welcome that saw the whole Mumbai coming to a stand still - just to get a glimpse of the national heroes.
